Matt and I went backpacking to Smith lake this past week. We spent 3 days and 2 nights out in the desolation wilderness. We hiked out of Wright's lake and 3 miles later all up hill, we made it to Smith lake. There was still snow up there and we had that whole area to ourselves. It was awesome!

Smith Lake is so tiny...it is beautiful there. Looking at all those makes me wish Ryan and I were there! Next summer we'll go with you guys!! Find us a good place to go Matt!
