Mendocino, CA. We took a trip to Fort Bragg/Mendocino with some friends over the weekend. We are getting in a few trips before Jess has to go back to work.
The guys went crabbing one morning and caught us some tasty crabs.
This is the smallest crab Matt caught and below is the biggest one out of the bunch.
AJ holding Emmett. He just loves his little cousin.
Emmett David Wooden was born on Aug 23rd at 5:41 pm. It was a quick and good labor and delivery. We couldn't have asked for anything better. He is a healthy boy, weighing 7lbs 1oz and 19 1/2 inches long.
It was an amazing experience welcoming Emmett into this world.
Matt is a happy Daddy.
We think he is pretty darn cute!
This is my wonderful OB, Dr. Riley.
Matt was great about keeping all of our excited family informed.
This is my awesome labor nurse Alicia.
On our way to postpartum
Proud Grandpa Wooden
Happy Grandpa and Grandma Johnson, Aunt Megan, and Lucas (Emmett has adopted him as another Uncle)
Great Grandma Wooden
Tired daddy
Relaxing with Aunt Meg. Megan was able to spend 3.5 days with us at home and was a great help. Thanks a bunch Meg!
Sweet Boy
Nap time.
First bath at home and he did not enjoy it. Brrr...
We had a fun Sat. morning and afternoon on the lake. I enjoyed watching everyone have fun but will enjoy next summer being able to actually ski again. Cute Sarah would wave at everyone.
The night before, Rachel, Megan, and Becca threw me a baby shower at mom and dad's. It was so much fun! I also had a shower the next day that my work friends threw for me. A weekend full of being spoiled!
They did such a great job on this cake! It was a lemon cake and so yummy with homemade ice cream as well.
Little miss sarah was enjoying being outside with her daddy working on the truck getting very dirty.
This tube was so bouncy and it was hysterical watching Megan being jostled around and doing a back flip out of it.
Meg was wanting me to post some tummy shots, so here we are.
We are doing well and excited to meet our boy! 5 more weeks until my due date. He moves so much and keeps me entertained. I only have 3 more nights of work and then I'm on maternity leave. Thank goodness!
I love visiting these kiddos in Reno! They wore me out, but I sure do love them! Mya and Brianna liked trying to feel the baby move. Adam came and poked my tummy with his cute little finger once. That was enough for him.
Erin, Kyle, Matt, Lexi, and Lucas all going for some crazy tube rides.
I love Matt's facial expression in this one!
Like I said before, awesome crazy tube rides at Folsom lake!

We finally got a picture of my pregnant belly.
Here is our little guy at our 20wk ultrasound. I am now 26 wks. He moves a lot and I love it. Sorry the pictures are blurry.
Matt is spraying out backyard to kill all of our glorious weeds.
Raking up his mess after cutting down a bunch of trees and bushes.
This is the tree, or used to be, that was in our front yard. He has been working really hard in the hot sun.
Matt and I were married on March 18, 2005 in the Oakland, Ca Temple. Matt loves motorcycle riding, basketball, backpacking, fishing, and of course xbox 360. He is in the thick of school right now. I love to read, exercise (esp. running), waterskiing/wakeboarding, riding quads, hiking, and spending time w/Matt and our family.
Graduation
Jessica graduated from Sac State in Dec '06 w/her bachelor of science in nursing. She is now a registered nurse working at Sutter Roseville in the family birth center.
